Suzy Lamplugh - The Truth is Out There

Image
Suzy Lamplugh - Time For The Truth Estate agent Suzy Lamplugh vanished after leaving her office on July 28th 1986 Welcome back to my study of the case of missing Suzy Lamplugh, who disappeared after leaving the estate agency where she worked in Fulham, London. Despite huge searches and the passing of time no trace of her has ever been found. Over the past weeks, my team and I have begun to really look carefully at the whole story from scratch, identify the failings of the enquiries that have spanned the years and try to make sense of the case. Before I go any further I want to say that I feel this case has long since ceased to be about getting justice for Suzy and her family and has become a free-for-all by authors of books, desperate to sell their stories and people worried about the truth coming to the surface so they work doubly hard to put one name in the frame and keep a man in prison, in hope that will suffice. That just makes me angry and disappointed, a twenty-five-year-o...

Finding Leah Croucher

Image
Teenage Girl Who Simply Vanished 19-year-old Leah Croucher simply vanished whilst on her way to work The morning of February 15th 2019 in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, UK, should have been just an average working day, but for one family that sadly was not the case. Leah Croucher set off to make a two-mile walk to work, as usual, and was indeed spotted on CCTV on her normal route walking through an area of Milton Keynes known as Furzton, on Buzzacott Lane at 0816. This was to be the last 'confirmed' sighting of the teenager. Witnesses also claimed to have seen Leah on Tellytubby Hill at around 0820 and it is assumed that she would then have either followed  and her mobile telephone appears to have been switched off at 0834 and has never been located. Now interestingly, during the evening of 14th February 2019, Leah's mobile telephone locator was manually switched off on the handset, presumably by her. Why did she turn the locator off? We may never know. Leah walking to w...

What Happened to Steven Clark?

Image
Missing For Almost 30 Years 23-year-old Steven left home for a walk in 1992, he never returned Steven popped into the public toilets on the promenade in Saltburn, North Yorkshire at approximately 3 pm on December 28th 1992, whilst out on a walk with his mother, he was never seen again. His mother had also gone into the ladies' toilets and having then waited a while outside she assumed her son had left. She had headed home, expecting to find her son there waiting, but he never arrived. Having reached home and found her son to be missing and knowing that he was vulnerable with learning difficulties, the alarm was raised and the police called. Unfortunately, the police considered Steven to be an adult and therefore advised Mr and Mrs Clark to wait for seventy-two hours to see if their son came home of his own accord. Steven Clark and his parents lived in the town of Marske-by-the-sea, near Redcar, North Yorkshire, England and on December 28th 1992 he had been to the Rathbone Society...

Image
Was Claire Tiltman's Real Killer Convicted? 16-year-old Claire was murdered on January 18th 1993 Claire Tiltman's murder investigation was not completed until some twenty-one years after she was killed. On December 12th 2014 Colin Ash-Smith was convicted of her murder, based on circumstantial evidence and previous bad character reference only, not a scrap of physical evidence exists to indicate that he was in fact the killer.  The question here is, was the right man convicted of the murder of 16-year-old Claire Tiltman or was it indeed someone else? Let's have a delve into the case and draw our own conclusion. Claire Tiltman was murdered, just four days after her 16th birthday on January 18th 1993 in a town called Greenhithe, in Kent, England.  S he was 16-years-old and a pupil at Dartford Grammar School for Girls. She made a short cut on her way to a friend's house to study and was brutally murdered by being stabbed at least forty times in a vicious and frenzied atta...
